BTW, would it be poor form for me to request that we start naming cities and states here when discussing which Target's have been hit today and throughout the coming week? Might save some of us some drive time if we don't all plaster the same stores fruitlessly. What's scary is I worked an overnight shift last night and didn't get home til 5:30am, yet some how I woke up at 8:44am to go looking for toys I checked Greensboro, NC |

Just got back from Target in Exton Pa. They had a bunch of wave 2 and 3. I picked up a lone red ninja. No sign of wave 5 or comic packs.

I hit three Target stores this morning. One had the comic pack peg but nothin hanging.
Two other stores didn't even have the pegs for the comics packs. All stores were fully stocked on wave 3. I spoke with a employee who stated their stocking folks don't work on the weekends. Is this true across the board or just for his store?

checked out my two local Targets, and in all two of the stores, they had plenty of wave 2&3, some first comic packs as well.

On a whim I brought along the UPC from one of the comic packs I got from TRU.com to scan. Both stores showed nothing in the stockroom (Course with these items basically having a street date, they may not exactly show up in the computer normally) "Ok, time to clear up some misconceptions about Target and department resets. When Target says the reset is happening 12/30, it means it's starting on the night of 12/30 (overnight, Sunday into Monday morning). Some stores can start a reset early (as some have found this morning at stores that already have the comic packs out or have the pegs set) depending on how far ahead of their workload they are, the size of their planogram team, if dayside is helping them prep for resets, etc.) Quote:

That being said, 90% of the time, a Sunday morning trip to Target expecting the reset to be complete will be a disapointing experience. Also, nothing in Target, save for movies, books, music, and video games and special merchandise(Tickle Me ELmo, Ipods, Zune, etc.)has a street date. Everything in Target has a SET date, which many Target team members will tell you is a street date because they either don't know the difference, or want to make the reason for not pulling stuff from the back early because you brought in a DPCI sound more official. Another thing, if you bring in a DPCI and a team member refuses to pull the product from the back for you, it's not because they're stupid, lazy, worthless sacks of flesh who shit on customers. It's because we want to give everyone, especially those without access to the DPCIs on the internet, a fair shot at getting the stuff. This rule mostly apllies to scalpers wanting to clean out a store before the merch even gets to the sales floor, but collectors and scalpers are one in the same in most retail employees eyes.

Not a bad morning, I got 7 Cobra Troopers. 4 of them have the blacked out gun on the card art, so Target's had them in the back for awhile.
