I doubt this would happen but I wouldn't mind buying one. The old one is disappointing. Much more should have been done with it. If I had the space I would just buy 2 and find some way to join them or build a connecting center similar to the joe hq. Same goes with adding extra decks to the Flagg.

hypothetical:
Lets say Hasbro says "ok club you can make a terrordrome but it will cost XXXXX production." If the club used Kickstarter for pre orders would they make their goal? Even if they dont make the goal what is the cost to the club? nothing. They can whip up a mock model in photoshop, create a campaign all in house. If they don't get XXXXX then no harm no foul everyone packs up and goes home.

Ha, I wouldn't trust the club to make me a F-ing sandwich, nevermind an updated Terrordrome.

Nope.
I hate to be blunt, but the answer is nope. Unless Joe starts selling hand over fist like crazy big like better than STar Wars sells. Which I would love to see but be highly suprised. As for the club, again I say nope...for them to reproduce the Drome would be WAYYY to expensive, and to be honest may improvements would be needed as the original isn't the best quality item in terms of how the plastic is molded. So nope...great thought but put it to bed. The Club is not Mattel. They don't have the resources to do a Terrordrome. The sheer number of new parts would be too much for the Club to do and it would end up costing like $700 or more. |

I'm in for a big old hell no.
It would be so expensive people would sit on it until clearance time, and then again we'd be sitting here pondering how they didn't make it as good as the original. A segmented version would mean more incomplete TDs out there than complete. We could even wind up with a situation where's it like trying to find the Best of 80's DVD set...a couple of the early segments flood the market and the one or two segments to finish it off become impossible to find. And by the time your credit card gets stolen its the most expensive stale, rehashed, made-from-left-overs sammich you've ever had the unfortunate luck to have taken a bite out of, at which point you realize you have no other choice so you eat the rest of it anyway.
