Finally, after dozens of emails and phone calls and three months of waiting I am getting refunded for three items that I returned to HTS on Oct 1, 2008. They have the absolute worst tracking/confirmation/return/refund system of any business I know.
If you do return items, you better damn well make sure that you get receipts from the post office with tracking numbers, because you won't have a fighting chance in hell without them. They owed me around $270 worth of refunds and I'm just now going to get them, but only because I called today and demanded to know what the holdup was. I have had problems before with not getting items I ordered, but usually when I call, they have always reshipped an item missing from my order. So they've been good about doing that. And I must say that I've gotten good discounts from there from time to time, but I will never order anything again if I have any doubts about keeping the item. The return/refund system is horrible! And many people have posted similar threads about how terrible it is. Consider yourself warned! |

Glad you got it resolved. Sorry that you had to work so hard at it, though. I have never had a problem myself with HTS, but this is not the forst time we have seen this reported.

With their recent decision to go against the 1992 SCOTUS decision, HTS now taxes all customers regardless of whether or not the customer's state has any affiliation with them. I foresee a lot of their customers staying away from them. The second quarter earnings of FY 2009 should be quite low because of this "gotta tax 'em all" decision. Also factor in their shoddy customer service, and they have a recipe for disaster on their hands. |

Whenever you do any returns via mail, ALWAYS have some sort of Confirmation/Tracking number.

I returned 4 items on August 30th. After numerous weeks of phone calls, I got emails on Nov 15th saying that my items were returned and that I should see a refund issued to my card within 2 billing cycles. Needless to say that I am still waiting on those credits to go through.

HTS is going down like the Titanic.
