Yesterday I was in the TRU in New York city ( Times square ) and they had probably a hundred SRO wave 2 packs! I started thinking, does anyone else feel the way I do that Hasbro should have done something different with the packaging? It seems the 25th has so many different style ( single, comic, SRO, 5 pack, 7 packs) I think maybe 3 figures on a card or on a card with a comic would have been better.
I do not like the way they look displayed with all the other 25th toys in their boxes. |

I like the packaging. A lot, actually. In fact, I passed on them when I first saw them because I thought they'd look better MOC and I open everything. I just think it would've been nicer of Hasbro to make them stackable for all those poor TRU stockers, especially since they sent so damn many.

Yeah, I think your on to something. I think that is the only reason I do not like them because they get damaged easily because of their weird design and they do not stack!

i like the 3 tube package, for display purposes, but if your opening them.. you will find that there is A LOT of wasted plastic and packaging....
im not going to get into environmental waste or anything like that..but c'mon the new ''viper'' 5pack or the 2-7packs, are also very good display packages

They are great little display sets, I dig the look of them. It makes them look like special editions.

I think Hasbro wastes too much time and money on packaging anyway. The SRO is the cherry of wasteful packaging and I think they need to actually put that kind of brain power into the toys. Perhaps we might get more figures we want instead of another repaint.
Just my opinion.

I like the artwork a lot from the originals, and you can see the product on the back. That's just me, though. |
