I prefer to do squads too. Mostly because you can just buy a 5 ir 6 pack then bam your done. Also I don't have enough room for armys
Question: How many of the same guy do you need till it can be considered army built?

It really is addictive.
There's just something insanely awesome about standing a tooper 6 deep, and 12 rows. You just look and go.....yeahhhhhhh. But I've recently set my brain that 6 is enough of any trooper. I think the number is subjective.
Building any size squad can be considered army building.

All depends on the individual. Just my own preference, I'd say for an actual "army" the minimum would be 15 (5 rows three deep), and that's for a small dio setup. Now if you want to have CC addressing a veritable sea of blue, get ready for the long haul. >_>;

yeah, troopbuilding is just what the word entails building your troops i don't think their is such a thing as having to many bad guys how many ninjas can you have there is no such number i have 12 ninja-ku's i want more but ill wait for a new sculpt,i have24 vipers , 18 eels ,10 red divers,20 bats,alley vipers 10 wait till the single carded i will buy every one i see 20-30 however many it takes plus they will be cheap/good fodder material too no such thing as too many....

Yes.For some reason i have a thing for Officers now.When there arn't any officers i make some.The red face BAT is my bat officer,i like to think of him has a central hub of sorts.All other bats relay through him.
