I went to check HTS this morning and see that they had 153 items listed for their Joe section - kinda made me excited as I thought that they had listed about 30 new items overnight.
It turns out that all they did was list a bunch of AFA figures - including some comic packs - most of them being of the peg-warming variety. It's like they received a bunch that couldn't sell at stores, so they wrapped them up for AFA to handle and here they are again. Disappointing. AFA sucks. |

Yeah, I figure the Buzzers and wave one CCs must be buy backs or something.

Meh, AFA has its uses. Not to me personally, but whatever. HTS selling AFA Wild Bills sucks.

I can't imagine these have been shipped on trucks to a DC, sat in a warehouse or back room, then were shipped back to Hasbro and are still able to be graded 9.0 and above. These must have been just sitting in a Hasbro or HTS warehouse, or were held back on purpose. The fact that they've possibly been holding these for so long to do so kinda pisses me off. I can't find certain items fairly routinely, yet they just have these sitting around.

They couldn't be bothered to stock merchandise folks would actually buy. Instead, they've opted for a peg warming approach by filling their Joe section with AFA crap. Interesting indeed.

When I worked at a PBS station, my boss had a saying:
'You can't polish a turd'. -(in regards to editing video we're sent) That's how I feel about AFA'ing Wild Bills and Buzzers and such. |
