As for why they pulled ALL of their AFA'd SDCC items, I'd say fan backlash. I just ran through 4 Joe sites, TFW2005 and Rebelscum. It was pretty unanimous that everyone hated this idea. It wouldn't surprise me if we don't see those come back online ever |

[QUOTE=Compulsive Collector]If they didn't feature the products on the main page of their site, or even in the 25th Anniversary category, then they really weren't advertising them. The figures were found by collectors poking around in the site.
They were listed and pictured as "Coming Soon" on the G.I. Joe page, the 25th Anniversary page, and under their own listing as "Graded Figures" in the list of G.I. Joe products. I did not have to do any poking to find them, finding an answer as to why they are gone has required poking and proding, I've called every number for Hasbro customer service I can find. No answers, no one I have spoken to at Hasbro even knows what I am taking about. I thought it was fishy for them to sell the AFA graded figures, but I still would happily pay $50 for a Gold PDD that will ship in a protective case. |

Say HTS did post the figures online with only a handful and demand obviously being in the hundreds if not thousands, I wonder how HTS would have been able to conduct an orderly sale. As much as I dislike the idea, an auction would probably be more appropriate in this case.

I've seen 25th Joe items, that could only be found when using their search feature, just clicking on the "G.I. JOE vs. COBRA 25th Anniversary" catagory shows me that they have 17 items and only Buzzer, Cobra Commander, Destro and the Joe 5 pack are in stock to sell. However, if I do a search for "25th" I see that there are 30 items (6 of these are sigma six items though) and that Beachhead is also in stock and ready to sell |
