I was just browsing the Joes on Ebay just now, just scrolling along, and on the first page, what do I see? Bloody Bakugan! Mind you, I'm browsing under Home-Buy-Toys & Hobbies-Action Figures-Military & Adventure-GI Joe-3 3/4-inch. What are these doing here? Must we abide these flash in the pan toys encroaching upon our precious Joes even in the virtual shopping aisle?

Just wait, pretty soon we'll see knock off versions at the flea market in the booths that have a lot of cardboard boxes lined up on the floor

Now its Bakugan, what will the kids be into next year?
POG-E-Man? Seriously, I'm so glad I conviced a Mother in Target last night to buy her kid Roadblock, Firefly, and Snake Eyes. The kid and his Mom thought gi joe was cooler than any of the anime stuff they seem to peddling to kids these days. |

I predict some 6 figure marketing genius will soon make a line called yugipokeballz. The toys will no doubt be pawned by yet another low budget pile of puke "cartoon" full of weird sounds, flashes of bright seizure inducing action scenes accompanied by the shows main characters shouting at random and throwing cards, monsters and balls around until the cartoon ends, only to wash and repeat itself over and over again.

since you brought up toy fads...who on here use to collect garbage pail kids? Those were my favorite for a short lived period of time! I remember getting all excited at what the new packaging cover would looke like and what new characters they would come out with.

My wife and I actually have a bunch of Garbage Pail cards. And yeah, I had a buttload of pogs when I was like 9 or 10. Remember the scary religious ones? Those were my fave, hilarious stuff like a big, out of focus satan face with the words HELL IS BAD in drippy, bright blue letters. On a 2" cardboard disk. Hey, remember Wacky Packs?

Yah, all the Bakugan pegs are pretty much always empty at my Wal-mart; they are in the same aisle as the Joes too. I don't even know what those things are; I preferred the Pokemon craze myself. LOL.
