I was thinking about this last night, but,Do you ever leave any behind??I know some people are buying everyone they see and i just don't understand that.I have passed Stalker,Shipwreck,Firefly to name a few.I buy 1 to keep MOC and one to open. The only ones that dont' count are Troopers and Red ninjas. What reason could someone have to get 4-5 Buzzers or Beachheads??I don't care if you resale them or not,I don't want this to turn into a flame thread.Do you clean the pegs or just get what you need?

I just preorder 2 sets and then a few extra troops. Mostly because I'm extremely lazy.

if i already have two of each, i leave em' for other people who may be in a situation that i used to be in...you know, never seeing any...i like to imagine someone else being happy to see some hanging there...or, just maybe, a kid being happy to see em' or discover them for the first time...it's called consideration...

If the 25th figures ever hit the shelves over here in England, I will be army building and perpetually broke. As it is, I am mainly picking up figures off the net for customising, and the ones I really want to add to my collection.

I'm trying to get 3 of everything (one to open, one to keep MOC, and one for my future son to open). For the most part I have pre-ordered evrything, but I have picked up a few variants in stores. I'm a little addicted to troop building, but I make an effort to leave stuff on shelves hoping that this line will strike a chord with the next generation. I find myself being the caretaker of the Joes in my local Wal-Marts, trying to keep the pegs neat and orderly with the coolest figures out front and all of them moved as far forward as possible so they are the first thing kids see. I think that the success of this great line of G.I. Joes depends on kids buying them so we should all do our part to help make them available and easy to find (except troopers of course ).

On a side note I think that the 25th Anniversary line will really take off if Hasbro does its part to advertise. A new cartoon (one that is a much better reflection of what G.I. Joe is all about than the S6 series) is vital!

I buy what I want, and sometimes I buy extras for other people. If the store has more than that, I don't purchase them just for the sake of doing it. I'm not going to "leave behind" something I want, though.

I've seen a lot of figures on pegs, especially in the last few weeks. I only get 2 of each (one to open), plus a few of the variants (although I gave up on Zartan). I also have bought most (but not all) of the troopers I've seen and I've left behind plenty of red ninjas and officers. I don't have the desire to get any more than that (I like moderate troop building). Plus, I'm already treading on thin ice in terms of keeping my wife happy!

Oh, I've also bought a few for my kids - not a complete set.
