I say don't burn yourself because I have 20+ years in working with fire and heat, and I never, ever recommend it and then just assume someone is as knowledgeable with it as I am, that would be irresponsible, and I have seen too much shit that would seem to defy common sense. I don't want skin grafts on my conscience. Edit: Ah, I see what you did there, I rarely read the quoted text. And I'm not satanic at all, I'm agnostic (this is the end of any religious discussion on my end- I respect ALL differences). My UN is a reference to the Argentinean Joes. No worries, you're not the first.

You basically get the water to the bottom boiling point, dip your part and wait, then turn up the heat as necessary. Most plastics used in toys are thermoplastics, which means the plastic can be heated and reshaped multiple times. The water prevents distortion of the part. Doesn't guarantee against it though, which is why you want to start mellow.

No worries man, hope it helps. Also no big on the hard time, like I'd said, not the first time I was asked, so I wasn't sure.

I will just keep an eye on it for the time being - if worst comes to worst I will pick up another 25th Anniv Rattler. I do appreciate all the feedback!

And that's putting it mildly. The decals on the 25th version are terrible! I ended up buying repro decals from Cobrastickers (now Toyhax).
