How do you guys usually display your opened figures.
I'm looking for a staircase type display that can show like 5-6 figures across the board, and maybe like 3-4 rows of steps. Anyone seen anything like this out there. But besides that, how do you generally display your opened figs? on a shelf? display case? spice racks? Thanks! gjtp |

I'm in the process of building my displays.
I want to have a bunch of scenes and the troops will be displayed on shelves.

Go to ikea in the shelf dept and look for the small narrow shelfs that are no more than a few inches wide. I use six of those one on top of the other. They look like they were made just for joes.

I used my spare room. It is my sanctuary. I need to get some stuffing for the alpine section today.

I use the "kitchen shelf organizer" (that's what the label on them says) which can be found at Target. They are actually their own "Target" brand.
They have 3 levels or "steps" and can fit 5 figures across for 15 figures total. They are made out of white plastic and have gray "nonskid" surface rubber pads on them. The rubber pads have little bumps on them though, but they don't really get in the way. Here are the dimentions... 3 3/8 in H X 14 1/14 in W X 9 1/2 in D (8.5 cm X 36.1 cm X 24.1 cm) I believe that they cost around 7 or 8 dollars a piece.

Mine are displayed in my cube at work in IMEX display cases Nos. 2504 and 2514. They are designed to hold three model cars but work great for Joes. I can place them in rows and columns of 4 to make 16 per case. The 2504 cases have clear bases and stack right on top of each other. They keep the dust off and keep people from touching them. Makes for a nice, clean display.

My Gf hates my collection so I can't really display them all nice or anything. But I was thinking of getting something like the shelves Ikea has, which are sleek and manageable. You could get a few of the following:
IKEA | Storage furniture | Shelving units | REXBO | Shelf unit Though $40 a pop seems a bit much. |
