Agreed. I'd actully put the MOBAT in the $19.99 to $24.99 range.
I like the set, the red HISS and MOBAT are sweet. Yeah for us collectors the repaints are annoying, but I think this is a pretty nice Christmas gift for a kid. The perfect thing to get your nephew's Joe collection started. He is going to be so excited to open up his own UBP!! Thank you Hasbro! |

Just going by standard price:
HISS Tank w/ Driver: 15.99 Cobra Flight Pod w/ crappy figure: $7.99 (half of a set) MOBAT w/ Steeler: $15.99 (probably more) Short Fuze: $6.99 Cobra Trooper: $6.99 Destro: $6.99 Stalker: $6.99 So $67.93 would be the normal going rate. Granted, it's yet ANOTHER Destro and CC (should have been 2 troopers), but it's not overpriced. It just depends on if you really want those, and I'm all about an armada of HISS tanks and Trubble Bubbles. And the MOBAT is freaking sweet. |

I dont think the "leaders" of Cobra should be on the front lines.

We've lost that in the last couple hundred years, coming to now where heads of state eat lobster and toast each other while the blood is spilt far from their view. GI Joe and Cobra keep it real. (And noone's a bigger badass than Optimus Prime in this regard.)

Why not? That's how real men did it. Kings and Lords used to fight the wars, leading their men into battle.

I passed on the set and only wanted the red HISS - which I got. I'm sure Short Fuze will be reissued eventually. But if it goes on clearance, like $45 I might get it.

I picked up this set today and I like it. I love the red Hiss Tank and the Mobat, and the packaging can be reused easily for display.
I had wanted to get a second Steeler so this saves me from buying another Armadillo vs Chariot. Short Fuze and Cobra Gunner is pretty cool and the color scheme on Stalker is good. I could have done without Cobra Commander or Destro, the least they could have done was given CC a open hand to help him pilot the Trouble Bubble. Cobra Commander needs to lose some weight too, it was a pain to get him out of the TB and then back into it. I plan to replace him in it with the Pyramid of Darkness Cobra Commander. If not for the Ultimate Battlepack, I wouldn't have come across Wraith, Bazooka Trooper, and Croc Master today, so that's a plus.

I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down! |

I love the Mobot and red Hiss Tank. The trouble bubble is ok, but the figure selection blows goats. All in all I'm glad I have it, but I'd feel a little better about the price tag if the figures included were any good.

If I see it in my import shops, I will grab it! A red HISS tank for the C.Gs and the MOBAT too! However, I wished the trouble bubble would be in its original colours.
