DEMON won it as the first Iron Grenadiers entry and Thunderclap is the new add.
The next poll in the search to determine the greatest G.I. Joe vehicles and playsets continues here and now! IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. Please post your NOMINATIONS for which vehicle gets in the next poll! You may nominate as many as you want, but everybody's first nomination is counted first, and each further nom is only counted if there is a tie for the nominee. Nominations are RESET TO ZERO in every poll. They do not add up. So the next poll choice is the one who gets the most noms IN THIS THREAD. 2. Only official U.S. or Canadian releases from Hasbro or the G.I. Joe Collector's Club for 3.75"-4"-scale figures are eligible. Any pack-in figures should NOT have any influence on your judgment of the item. 3. The poll is multiple choice but only ONE winner will be selected. Each choice you vote for gives that choice an equal boost at becoming the winner. Winners: 1. Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Flagg (43.40% with 23 votes from 53 voters) 2. Hovercraft (Killer W.H.A.L.E.) (40.38% with 21 votes from 52 voters) 3. Terror Drome (38.30% with 18 votes from 47 voters) 4. Tomahawk (43.18% with 19 votes from 44 voters) 5. (Dual Elevating Multi-Ordnance Neutralizer) (37.93% with 11 votes from 29 voters) Current poll choices: Slaughter's Marauders Equalizer Check Point Battle Station Night Landing Twin Battle Gun Whirlwind Rage (Urban Assault Vehicle) Mean Dog R.O.C.C. Rolling Operations Command Center Silver Mirage Motorcycle Night Ops Humvee Thunderclap Rules: 1: ELIGIBILITY: For a vehicle or playset to be eligible, it must have been a Hasbro or G.I. Joe Collector's Club 3.75" to 4"-scale U.S. or Canadian release toy. Other foreign items, items released by other toy companies, and items released for other scales of figures are NOT eligible. If multiple vehicles were packaged together then each must be nominated separately, unless one was a much smaller accessory to the other. Vehicles that were released as accessories to a playset or figure ARE eligible to be nominated separately. Any pack-in figures should not have any influence on your judgment of the item. Every U.S. or Canadian release that appears in a distinct listing in YoJoe.com's vehicle section is eligible no matter how similar it was to another release. You should specify which release you are nominating by year or YoJoe.com version number. If you don't, I will simply make my own guess as to which one you mean. You can ask in the thread if you're not sure if a vehicle or playset is eligible and I will make the final determination. 2: NOMINATIONS: Nominations will be tallied in each poll thread to add a choice to the next poll. You can only nominate choices who are not already in the poll. Nomination counts will NOT carry over from one poll thread to the next. Every potential choice starts at 0 in each poll thread, so only the nominations within that thread will count towards selecting the next poll choice. You can nominate as many choices as you want in the thread, but pay attention to the order, because only your first nomination will count, UNLESS there is a tie in the nomination count. If there is a tie in the nomination count, I will then count people's 2nd nominations to break the tie, and 3rd and beyond if necessary. 3: VOTING: All polls will be run as multiple-choice polls. However, at least for the first 10 polls, only the top vote-getter will win. It's up to you whether you want to vote for only your top choice or for more than one. If there is more than one choice that you like equally, it would probably make sense to vote for all of them, to help any one of them beat out a choice that you don't like. But your voting strategy is up to you. The polls will run for 2 days each but may switch to 1-day polls eventually. 4: TIES: Any ties in the poll will be broken by a run-off WITHIN the thread of the next poll. In addition to posting your noms in that thread, you can post who you prefer to break the tie (or rank your choices in order of preference in the event of a 3-way or more tie). Any ties in the run-off or in nominations will be given to the choice which got to its total earliest. 5: DROPS: No drops will be done for now. If it becomes necessary later, then if a choice has not won after 10 polls and ends in the bottom 5 vote-getters in the last poll, then it will be dropped from the poll. It can then be nominated again to get back in the poll. YoJoe.com vehicle and playset listings for reference: http://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/ |

Night Landing and Thunderclap currently tied, the newer additions seem to be more exciting to people. I guess because the ones voting are the ones who nominated them? I mean, I fall into that category...

Probably right, but we also don't have enough people nominating so when a choice can get in with only 2 or 3 noms, it's not a very good predictor of what people will vote for. I don't understand why Night Ops Humvee isn't getting more votes though. It seems to be a popular vehicle for people to look for on eBay.
