Where does the 25th Viper place on your favorite army builder list? If he didn't have the limp wrists, where would he place?
The reason I'm asking, is one of the recent HASBRO Q&A answers indicated that Hasbro won't be making more Vipers with the fixed wrists because "fan feedback shows no more interest in the Viper" or something like that. I think that's a load of crap. The reason the Vipers are warming pegs everywhere is because of the wrists, so people didn't army build as much with this one as they did with the other builders. I say that people will buy lots more Vipers if they are released with the straight wrists that the upcoming 5-pack Viper has. So where does he place now, and where WOULD he place if he has fixed wrists. Personally, the 25th Viper would be my #1 favorite builder if it had normal wrists. The rest of his mold is awesome and I love the vest. With limp wrists, my top 5 list looks like this: Trooper EEl BAT Viper Serpent IF they were to fix the wrists I'd move Viper to #1 |

I think the answer to the question said that they are fixing the wrist b/c of fan feedback, and the Viper is getting a chrome faceplate. Of course you have to buy the new 5-pack to get one.

more to that answer is that they don't plan on releasing the fixed arm Viper at all except for that 5-pack because fans are DONE with the Viper.

It's crap. I already have 11 Vipers (going for a dozen) and the wrist only look bad when he's not holding his rifle.
BTW, he's the only one that CAN hold his rifle up near his shoulder like anyone with an ounce of training would. Everyone else, Joe and Cobra, needs to shoot from the hip, which I don't care for terrifically. They're called ACTION figures. They ought to look good in action as well as on their precious cards. |

I imagine that if these get a good enough review, there will be a rerelease of Vipers.. minus the chromevac faceplate i'm sure.

I may get two Viper IG sets and one Chrome faced as a squad leader. And that's it(for 5 total, not counting extreme environment). I build 5 man trooper and 3 man ninja squads.
I've got my Troopers, Serpents, CGies, and I'm waiting on Eels and Para-Vipers. One trick that's been semi-successful for me with the Viper Goggles is to stick 'em in hot water until they get soft and sort of mold them to the Viper's helmet. They stay on much better after that. But I still try not to fool with them. |

Drop of super-glue solves the goggle problem. There's no reason to take 'em off that I can see unless you wanna stick em on another character.
