I bought the Bradley tank from Target. Great toy, 2 spots in turret, and the back has a place for about 4 figures. Costs about 20 bucks, not bad

For me it’s all about the nostalgia of the G.I. Joe line. I have a Bradley’s in just about every scale except for the 12 inch one just because I have been on one for the past 20 yrs. I do not mix them with my Joe’s.

I saw this tank on ebay and was wondering if anyone has any idea what a 1/35 scale is? It's a WWII Panzer Tank diorama. It looks way better than the gi joe mauler!
1/35 diorama TIGER II pro built WW2 Tank Panzer WWII - eBay (item 200280961195 end time Dec-03-08 11:09:36 PST) A model will beat any toy's realism, so it's a little unfair to compare. Beautiful tank, though, i gotta say.

Hasbro makes Joe Vehicles.. I buy them and put Joe figures in them. BUT... these other companies who make the "Realistic Today" vehicles are really getting my attention. I have an F-22 Raptor from TRU, and I have a World Peacekeeper Watchtower I got at Big Lots. So what if it doesn't say GI Joe on it... buy some stickers and put them on there or figure out how to make em yourself. Bottom Line: Hasbro will not remake all the figures and the vehicles they did 25 years ago because they probably think it's a waste. We also have alot more figures than we do vehicles.. so go out and buy some generic vehicles, add some paint and stickers, and enjoy this. Once Hasbro stops making the line... we will be sad until the 50th anniversary comes out... if it comes out!

Well I like both and cant compare them really.
I have a Vamp and a BBI Humvee, I like the Humvee more but what did I have as a kid, a Vamp the best 1/18 vehicle all around is the Night Attack Chopper which is Joe. no Blackhawk or AH64 beats it. It looks like a combination of the 2. its an American Hind, love it. tho I am thinking of painting it gunship gray. I hope Hasbro gets back to making these kinda of vehicles for Resolute or the Movie. PS. The F-22 is great, Thunderwing SUCKS!!!!!!! |

The F-22 and the Thunderwing (one in the same, really) suck to me solely from an aesthetic standpoint. Well, the Thunderwing more because it's a slug of a toy. |
