I guess Roadblock Recall is the ring-leader in all this. Guess we can just call him the Cobra Commander of the Tank.

I love people that argue FOR doing illegal things by using some assumption that they have a RIGHT to get things for whatever the lowest price they can scam someone for.
It's the same as "it's fine to copy DVDs because they charge too much." Yeah, right. Whatever makes you lying criminals sleep better at night I guess. Like it's perfectly fine to force the rest of us to pay higher prices to subsidize your GI Joe habits (and before you all try to argue how this doesn't affect what I pay, it damn well does... maybe not the next figure I buy, but if their profits dwindle, they will either charge more or cancel the line). |

I don't even think you can return the figures to Walmart. Even if you have a receipt from Walmart, they will only take the identical figure. So you wouldn't be able to return a Buzzer with a Walmart receipt for a BAT.

All of those who buy the figures for cheap to make room for more Waves that you do not have and plan to exchange them in the future.. I hope it don't work. I hope you get stuck with your Wave 5 revisions. I can only see you rush into a Target and see Waves 10, 11, & 12, then run out to your cars to exchange the figures and BLAM.. some other kid has swiped every damn one of them up and left you with empty pegs. Serves you right.
I say buy all the pegwarmers you want. Just don't come here complaining because I beat you to the store and bought all of the latest figures before you could exchange your pegwarmers. |

I fail to see how that plan is either dishonest or fraudulent. Tell the Target employee that these are figures you bought at an earlier time when you are returning them, they won't care. They'll still take them as returns since to Target, they are the same item and they are worth the same amount of money. How exactly is this fraudulent if he's complying with Target's return policy?
I also don't see how the term "cockblock" applies to this scenario. Do you know what it means? I know you've got more sense than to sit there and say that there's NOTHING wrong with what you're suggesting. |

Are you new? Don't you know that they would hide the new figures before they ran out to their cars?

No-receipt returns are set in place for people who purchased at a given store and honestly misplaced it. It's not for people who want to return anything from somewhere else that their POS system will scan. Target only allows 2 no-receipt returns within a 12 month period, which is to prevent people from repeatedly performing fraudulent returns/exchanges. If they TRULY didn't care, they'd allow as many as you wish. It's deceitful, and in some cases not telling the truth is lying.
I know you've got more sense than to sit there and say that there's NOTHING wrong with what you're suggesting. So yes, there is NOTHING wrong with what I'm suggesting. As far as they are concerned, and as far as their computers are concerned...I bought a 25th Anniversary GI Joe figure in good condition, and I returned a 25th Anniversary GI Joe figure. How is it immoral if Target is perfectly ok with this? Last edited by Roadblock Recall; 11-24-2008 at 06:09 PM.. |
