I'd pick my BB gun up and fire back.. but I ran out of BB's. Oh look, I found one.. but I'll save it for a battle I can win.

The overblown outrage and pompous moralizing on this site has gotten ridiculous in the past few weeks. There have been a plurality of threads that degenerate quickly into people calling each other scum, saying they are a microcosm of what's wrong with the world. In the repacker thread there was someone who wanted to taser the repacker for 20 minutes. That would probably kill a person; what repack is morally equivalent to that. Here is my position: These quasi-legal/illegal maneuvers are in an ethically gray area. To get completely f^*kin out of control and absolutist about it, well maybe that is a microcosm of what is wrong with the world today.

So if I get 2 Dukes for Christmas, it's not okay to exchange one for a figure I'd rather have if it's a figure I'd rather get? Here's yet another assumption for this thread - the same people who are complaining about making these returns are the same ones who complain when they can't get a figure because someone took the time to drive all over town looking for that figure first.
Lying about it is one thing, but simply taking advantage of a store's policy without any deception really shouldn't be an issue. It's called a loophole. Should the rich people who follow the charity-based tax loopholes so closely that they never have to pay any actual taxes feel bad about not helping out their government? It's totally within the law, and returning the figures is totally within the rules. Robowang What more can be said? |

Puts down BB gun and picks up taser. Turns the voltage all the way up and gets ready to strike. Oppurtunity is knocking.. but... CRAP!! Battery is dead!! While it re-charges, sits and waits for next post.

It varies. Some have them for 6.84 others for 7.54

Now that the $4.99 sale at Target is about to end? Has anyone bought up a reserve of extra Joes in anticipation of the price hike back to $6.89 or even worse to $9.99.
NOTE: If you don't know by now, Target's inventory considers all Joes the same so they do not differentiate whether you originally bought a BAT and then return a Wild Bill. I plan to buy 6+ extra Joes to return in the future in the event they increase prices. Worse case scenario is that I just get my money back a few months later. If you can pull it off, well, whatever, but honestly, I think your energy is better spent elsewhere. It's your life though. |

Are you still referring to my post about re-packers?? I don't believe I said anything about a straight 20 minute period. I just said Tase his ass for 20 minutes and then ask him if he still wants to return that repack? Anybody in their right mind would let someone breath after 30 seconds of tasing or hell they would die after 10 minutes. Repackers get the taser.. buying revision Joes and trading them for newer waves just needs an ass chewing.
