this might sound crazy but... i havent really had any problems?
oh, one of my troopers... i think it was the officer, was missing his leg friction cap entirely. took him off the card and was like "WTF?" *dangle dangle* but i folded up some paper... or something... forgot how i fixed him but he's fine now. (and by now i'm sure i could use a duke/cc/se friction cap lol)

I think if you take the leg off and put it back on with out the little white rubber pieace it may fix that?
I think there is also probleums with the t joints the legs attach to. I have had many figure with one leg longer then the other. I have never seen a wraith with two legs the same length. If you take them off they are the same length but when attached they are one longer then the other??? |

Every figure I have with an American Flag print on the arm has the flag printed in reverse (blue field on the right instead of left side of the flag, that is). It bothers the ever living hell out of me.
Besides that, I think the only real defect I've had is the single-pack Gung-Ho, whose knee joint is so loose he has to be propped up against something to stay standing. I've had a few other issues, but those were just a matter of Hasbro being retarded in how they package the toys. When will they learn to stop warping and destroying figures just to fit them into a specific pose in the plastic tray? My blue 'Silent Interludes' Snake Eyes has a miserably warped right leg, and a couple of Storm Shadows (as well as the new 'training' Snake Eyes) have a hand, or both, ready to come off because it was twisted in the package to accomodate whatever pose he was packaged in. |

I have seen a lot of figures of late have paint errors, such as missing logos. I know that these errors are not true variants, but does the error raise or decrease their value?
I am a collector so most of my G.I. Joes stay MOC. It is always a tough choice on whether I buy an error or not. |

The Copperhead I got in the Shipwreck comic pack is missing his thumb. Looks like it has been bitten off by Polly LOL. I actually don't mind it. I think it gives my Copperhead figure character kind of like the bite scars on Croc Master. The guy worked in swamps swarming with dangerous wildlife on an airboat, odds are he would have eventually lost a digit eventually.
Thats actually not an error. Real US military uniforms are the same way. |

I usually examine the figures closely, especially the face and eyes, before buying, but once I wasn't paying attention and got a Red Ninja whose left lower leg wrap wasn't painted the darker red. Needless to say, he stands in the back. I have just a couple of loose joints, nothing major, but my biggest gripe is warped legs and weapons from multi-packs (comic packs, DVD packs, UBP)
