So pretty much everything Hasbro releases now will automatically shoot up to $20+ on ebay???
The stores only get 1 or 2 cases & that's it? Even summer movie lines like Avengers only get 1 or 2 cases now? I've been noticing that everything that Hasbro releases lately is impossible to find. Not only GI Joe, but all their toy lines. The funny thing is, my friend just got a promotion at Walmart. they were telling him some crap about making sure the shelves are well stocked at all times. They don't like to leave any shelves or pegs empty or under stocked. We both laughed at that one. We were both like "If that's the case then take a look at the fucking action figure aisle!" What a a joke! That's why I quit toy collecting & only mess with video games now. I never have any problems not finding a video game I want. I never have to waste tons of gas driving all over creation "hunting" for a video game. I never have to buy from scalpers online & pay 3x or 4x for a video game. I was just about to open my MOSC Jungle B.A.T. Just to get rid of the card so it won't take up so much space. But after checking ebay I'm not so sure. They're up to $30? that's friggin ridiculous! The stores around here only got like 1 or 2 cases & that was it. If you weren't there on that 1 day they had them then you didn't have a chance. Same with the Sci-Fi wave. WTF? Yeah I am trying to draw my collections to a close (be nic eif hasbro would just get the last of the 83-91 figs in ARAH ME style and I could call it done). The days of it being moderately not so expensive have come to an end for the modern era. Scalpers are depleteing toy shelves fatser then ever these days to resell on ebay. I dont see any solution to that. Retail wont order more and wont stock...everytnhing is becoming convention exclsuives with very few ebing made for the fans...Hasbro kills waves to quickly and never re-hashes any of them in future revisions like MU does and so on...it would be ok if they only released around christmas and that was some method to thier madness but even then its still just as hard to locate any of this stuff..without resroting to overly priced online dealers or the dreaded scalperbay...it seems to be getting worse...I agree...

Distribution used to be bad. But now WTF? Where are all the figures ending up? Is everything going to end up at ROSS or TJ Maxx eventually??? Hardly anything is hitting the main retail stores.
Seems like after ROC, Walmart isn't ordering hardly anything anymore. Just 1 case per store & that's the end of it. I can understand them trying to "play it safe" & not over-order but I think they've gone too far in the opposite direction. |

Its like that everywhere it seems. I have SOOO many pre-orders at BBTS this year that have not been fulfilled and they keep pushing back the dates...from MU Transformers, Star Wars and Joe(well joe has an excuse right now due to the movie being pushed back but still! wtf!) Its like Hasbro cant afford shipping anymore?

I see Hasbro stuff everywhere! They practically OWN the action figure section!
buts its mostly Star Wars, and Marvel stuff. 2 big corporations. unlike GI Joe which is only owned by Hasbro.. I'm personally sick of SW crap...its all EP1 stuff.....that shit didnt sell back in the day and they certainly aint selling now!
