I love the card art on the figures and the fact that they look very similar to the vintage releases. I wish the vehicles also looked similar to the vintage packaging.

Anyway, the window boxes help sell the vehicles to picky parents and kids who want to see what they’re buying. Plus, kids nowadays are too lazy/dumb to build an tank by themselves. And I think we all like it when GI Joe sells well, don't we? I like being able to make sure no darn swapper’s been in my stuff, so the window boxes are good for that. |

I have a solution - put a window in the back or side so we cane glimpse the contents. You may not be able to see everything, but you'd be able to tell at a glance if it's repacked.

The new open vehicle box look is better for the people that don't like to open their stuff, except IMO they should have a cardboard corner where the two sides of the clear plastic meet at the top edge because that part always gets dinged for some reason.

I wouldn't mind a vintage looking box with a fold up window to peak inside. As a MIB collector I love the old boxes, but I still like to see what I've got without removing it from the package.

I think they actually got it right this time, for me back in the day the box art SOLD me on the toy.
Nowadays the see thru boxes allow you to see it again(the toy)in real life in a toy dept. ...HOW COULD YOU NOT BUY IT ???!!!

I would have prefered the original packaging with the artwork than this less attractive clear window and preassembled vehicles.
