Has anyone heard if Hasbro is going to release a better Tele-Viper? I've noticed they've been retooling some figures that have received a fair amount of complaints, and in my opinion, the Tele-Viper by far is in the most need of reparation. From the lack of any accessories, to the carpal Viper hands and fugly unpainted grimace on his stupid face, this poor guy needs some love!
And hey - what about the Techno-Viper we were teased with several months ago? |

He did suck. A Tele-Viper head with bad paint apps on a Viper body without any accessories does NOT equal a Tele-Viper.
I haven't opened my TB set yet, because I hate him so bad. I think a CP would be a great place to release him, in a troop-builder set similar to the IG/Viper or the CG/Trooper set. |

I remember getting one in 1985 and thinking how ugly he was. I still have the figure and still think its ugly lol. I doubt I'll get the new 25th version of it.

As far as characters go, he's a lower peripheral character... They're redoing the Viper in the upcoming 5-pack because he's a frontline troop, plus had a good set of complaints about his wrists and such.
I'd rather see a Techno-Viper all geared out... talk about sweet. |

I think the Techno - Viper, and Cobra La figures you saw were only Show Models for the Trade Show.
I personally am glad they're keeping the Cobra branches looking similar to each other, i.e., Bazooka Trooper, Air Trooper, Stinger Driver all have the same uniforms. With that said, I would love to see these figures made: 1. Techno Viper 2. Night Viper 3. Medi Viper 4. Lamprey 5. Ice-Viper & Snow Wolf vehicle 6. A better Made Tele -Viper 7. Alley Viper 8. I had another in mind and now that I'm typing this, I can't remember for the life of me!!.....Arrggh!!! |

Gyro-Viper!! That's what I was thinking of. I thought the figure looked really cool, I'd love to see it more of a Cobra color and have a Cobra Sigil on it, on the sleeve at least.

How's about a Combat Support 7 Pack? With:
(Musts) -Techno-Viper -Tele-Viper (fixed) -Medi-Viper -Motor-Viper and (take your pick) -Flak-Viper -Frag-Viper -Night-Viper -Secto-Viper -Cyber-Viper -Range-Viper -Saw-Viper -Rock-Viper I'm sure a lot of these could use existing molds |
