The thing is, the quality that I would want from a New 8" line would require a larger price tag. I don't want a slap-together line full of reused parts that a soldier assortment would give us at $10.00. There is a high-end market for G.I. Joe's SideShow has proven this.

I would like to see that. I thought the Sigma 6 figures were just the coolest things. I really dug the packaging too. The show did suck....very bad. I would have to sell a kidney to afford them, but who needs two kidneys anyway?

No. Too big, too pricey.

No. If Hasbro moved some of their budget for the 4" line to make room for 8" figures then the 4" line would suffer dramatically in terms of getting new figures and new sculpts. A $15-20 figure in the 8" scale has absolutely no appeal to me whatsoever. Keep the line 4". If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Like SkyHawk said, grow up with 3 3/4" style figs, sticking with them. The 8" nor 12" have any appeal to me, prefer the original 3 3/4" size that I grew up with during my childhood. Easy answer on 8" figures: nope

I'm not really opposed. I'd like to see them done in a slightly different style than Sigma Six, but the scale could be cool. I'd be in for a limited number of figs, though, and not a whole line.

I'll weigh in. I would not buy 8" figure of the type described. To the extent that I am willing to step outside of the 3 3/4" scale for the first time, it will be for Sideshow's 12" GI JOE figures which (from appearance) are a fantastically detailed high-end collectible with excellent takes on classic GI JOE universe characters.

I wouldn't support an 8 " line maily because...
Hasbro and others are too concerned with bringing out more types of figs instead of expanding on what it already has. I ( and I 'm sure everyone else) would RATHER see Hasbro create more playsets and accesories for the 4" line that is currently out. buying the 8" line is just an excuse to get collectors to buy more stuff, I think the investment and design time should go into making the 25th style figures better and more well equiped. I think we can all agree that that line is not perfect yet. bad head sculpts... poor joint design... not enought figures to meet demand... you know, the little stuff I honestly feel that the 8" line is dead and it should stay that way, sorry hasbro, cover the grave already'
