I have limited funds and I'm trying to get the most of my hobby fund. Which figures should I NOT buy. I will gather all your suggestions. All the figures are great to have but which are those that you believe are not worth it or not that important in the collection. Thanks

with limited funds you should not buy anything. Save said funds until you have lots of funds and then you wont have to make the decision whether to buy joes or pay the electric bill.

Have you budgeted for this hobby?
If so, buy what you like. I've never had a problem finding ANY particular figure in stores at some point. If you have patience, wait until you have the figure in your hand in the toy aisle to determine what you like or don't.
You're gonna get a lot of opinions on what figures to buy and not to buy. Generally, there is a consensus on which figures are truly great, then it gets iffy on personal tastes. Like Trakker... personally, I love the figure, but there's a lot of haters out there.
The choice is yours!

Put yourself on a budget. With that amount, buy what you want.

some folks don't like their action toys with the sleeves rolled up below the elbow... duke arms, they call it. It limits the range of motion in the arm as well as has an unusualy high-cut wrist swivel so it looks a little 'odd' It doesn't bother me at all, but lots of people think it detracts from the toy. So that might be something to look out for when making a purchase of only a few figures.

If you're that limited, you need to control your spending and learn how effectively managed your money.
And your survival and living expenses should come before your Joes.

Ok, here would be my guidelines with a limited budget:
#1 Stick to the individually carded figures. Stay away from the 3-packs, 7-packs, comic 2-packs, vehicles, etc. The carded figures have the best art, sculpting, and overall appeal IMO, plus they tend to retain their value better.
#2 Prioritize based on the figures you love and listen to your gut. You will know when there is a figure you "can't live without".
#3 If you're hesitant about a purchase, skip it. You can always pick up the figure down the road if you decide you need it, or if you finally meet that sugar-mama of your dreams.
Best of luck!

I focus on the cool figures. Like yoda once said, "you will know" which figures are the cool ones.
"To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men." -Abraham Lincoln
"A little rebellion now and then is a good thing......It is a medicine necessary for the sound health of government." -Thomas Jefferson

go with the cool ones. they tend to be found in single card anyway. and if you want them all but want to budget, it turns out cheaper if u buy the whole case online.
