What I ended up doing was going carded as the base (it's the only one painted worth a damn) and adding the chest harness, cobra hood, and helmet from the DVD. The harness needs to be painted green, and removing the hood can be tricky as it's glued in AND soft plastic. I'm considering adding the abdomen/waist from the chariot version so he can kinda-sorta-maybe ride the chariot, but don't feel like cracking open any figures (or painting the stolen parts to match). It's not cartoon accurate, but it's character-accurate and looks pretty good.

I did what Snake Eyes did, an used the skirt from the Air Chariot version because it's made of softer plastic so it's easier to position him on the Chariot, which I was surprised I managed to do with the diaper crotch. I'll post some pics tonight.
For the cobra hood, you gotta cut it at the base of the hole with a an exacto knife or box cutter so there's at least SOME peg to glue it into the back of the other figure. I am still SO FRAKKING PISSED at stupid Hasbro for gluing that part in. FUCKING WHY?!?!?! They HAD to know we'd be using different parts to make a half way decent Serpentor, and then they took extra time and money to glue a part in place one of the main pieces we would need to do that. |

For me, I was able to put the hood onto the single pack Serpentor without glueing. There was a little bit of the tab left so I lined it up with the hole and the pressure of the cape actually holds it in place.
