So I finally saw the new Retalation toys yesterday......

Fair warning, I'm in sour mood, so this is going to be ugly. :(


I decided to get out of the house for a bit the other day, haven't been doing much "hunting" as of late for financial reasons.

Anyway, finally saw my first "Retaliation" figures and toys. Needless to say I'm even less impressed w/ these than I was the RoC stuff after the 25th, PoC and 30th stuff and do NOT plan to buy a single piece at this point. I'd also like to thank Paramount for pushing the whole movie thing back at this point b/c now I don't have to plan on buying anything for a while now, looks like I can finally get back to putting money into firearms (real ones) again till next year instead of figures. Nice to finally have the budget freed up a bit for once (I'd put off buying one piece for quite a while now b/c of Joe stuff).

I'm just sorry to see what's happened to the line, especially after so much hope w/ all the PoC and 30th stuff after the first movie came out too. I honestly believe between all this, Hasblow cutting back the line and the Collector's Club screwing everything up from the sub service, the sh*tty figures they had in it, and the whole convention and credit card debacle that we honestly might be looking at the end of the line again. :(

My wallet sure won't miss it, but I honestly will. Pretty much everything since 2007 has been pretty cool, honestly sorry to see it go if it does. :(

I think most of us can relate. I bought some retaliation stuff. It's not terrible, but it ain't no PoC/30th. In a way, the hiatus will be nice on the savings account. So there's a positive

I looked at it online, what's the big deal?

I hate "fake looking" troops like that, I'm more into the more realistic looking ones that are believable.

Joe trooper is cool, even if he is HALO looking. I also dig the Cobra trooper, the parachute alone is the whip!!! I set aside my AB-115 Sharks (True Heroes C-130 version) for my Joes but now I need something for my Cobra troops to jump out of. Might have to switch.....

Anyway, cheer up to dude, something will come along to keep us satisfied until next March.
