I was looking around the other night and I saw four long boxes that said "12 in GI Joe assortment" and then below it said something like "real american hero line" so I was curious to what was inside but the cases were buried on the skid so I waited until they put them out and went back a different day.
This is what was inside.

Yeah, they're wal-mart exclusive's of the 40th anniversary line of the 12" Joe (the original Joe line).
What's so interesting about that? I saw 'em and grabbed 1 of each, not into the 12" line, but figured they would be neat to have.

I am assuming they were not expensive? But didn't check the price but I have seen some on eBay going for $70 apiece.

They are cool. When they did this back in the 90's a got a few, Action Pilot, and the Soldier.
Very cool figures. My father had a load of the originals when he was a kid.

last year after Christmas, the ones that Walmart had as exclusives, went on clearance for under $5.00 each
these look to be the same ones they put out a few years back for the 40th anniversary, except that they are not enclosed in the big window boxes with the carded uniform/accessory pack. that being said, if you missed out on getting them the first itme around, they are a cool addition to your collection |
