Claymore has always been one of my very favorite Characters.
When I joined this site, I was under the impression that my love for the Claymore character was an odd bit of personal preference, and that his obscurity would preclude a widespread following. After all, they only made one edition of him in a 1986 TRU exclusive pack: Mission to Brazil. I was wrong. SO many long time fans have listed Claymore, over an over again, in their Top 10 for best characters in G.I. Joe. So let's hear it. Do you think Claymore is a great character? Would you want Hasbro to bring him back in another edition (they brought back Starduster)? If they were to bring him back, what would you like his uniform to be like? Desert Camo? Woodland Camo? Urban Camo? Black Ops? Face paint? As always, interested to hear your comments.

Yeah, I missed out on him in the Brazil pack. My first exposure was in the DDP run. I'd love to see him show up.
Woodland Camo or Urban Camo would be cool.

I should add that I have made 2 (Urban camo and Woodland camo) Custom Claymore figures and I am currently having a third (desert camo) made by a friend from ebay who does amazing customs: Shakka85.
I used Claymore's head with Footloose's helmet, Shockwave's torso, and Falcon's arms, waist and legs for each of them. Only the colors were differnt and they turned out great, and because I used original factory parts/paint jobs, they are fully playable. Anyone else every made a custom Claymore?

I never had the Brazil set and didn't pay any mind to him until the DDP run. This made the character for me. Maybe a DDP comic pack with Claymore and ...

Other DDP characters: Barrell Roll, Mayday, Crosshair and I'm sure there's another character that they used heavily from the lesser known Joes.

I never actually owned him myself but would certainly shelled out the money to get him. As far as color scheme the choices you mentioned are all appealing to me. My top choice being wood, there just something about green that I have always liked |

I voted yes because I'd like to see a new version of him in realistic camo, not the funny orange/yellow pajamas. He was always a cool character concept, but the vintage colors were a poor choice.

I would live to see Claymore make a come back but not on single card. It a multi pack or as a driver only.

Had the Brazil set when I was younger, so I'm all for a new Claymore.

I feel like there are few characters on the Joe Team that are as well rounded, and well qualified as Claymore.
Flint, Lady Jaye, and Duke seem to be the only other such well rounded/qualified Joes. Maybe Beach-Head? Any other extremely well rounded and well qualified Joes?
