Using that logic, every war memorial ever is pointless.

I buy him, it would be a fun figure to have. Use him as support staff.

If we got a George Lucas Storm Trooper fig, why not Larry Hama. We do already have Tunnel Rat though...

Either way, I have my new Tunnel Rat and the likeness is very Hama. Glad to see it that way.

Ok, so the guy was paid to write the GI Joe comics. Giving him a figure as a tribute would be like my boss building a statue in my honor for showing up for work and doing my job. The guy was paid to do a job, he did it. No honor or tribute is necessary. Oh and as you've probably guessed, no I would not buy a Hama figure.

The guy is a friggen comic book writer. His job has nothing to do with defending our nation or putting his life on the line to protect my family. Those who serve in the military do this on a daily basis. Are they paid to do a job? Yes. Do they deserve a memorial for it? Absolutely. They're out their risking their lives everyday to protect me and my family and ensure that folks like Hama can go to work everyday without being shot at or blown up by enemy combatants. Are they always successful? No. But at least they're out their doing their best to keep me and my family safe. I think it takes a lot of gall to come here and even suggest that some comic book stories are even remotely close to being on the same level as the sacrifices our veterans have made to protect and preserve this country.

LOL. I do not need to check my GI Joe history but thanks for thinking of me. I still do not believe a guy deserves some special "honor" for writing a comic book. If you believe otherwise that's great. Maybe hasbro will produce something for you and you can buy it. The OP asked if we would buy such a thing and I said no. I did not ask you to agree with my reasons and could not care less if you do. Thanks.
