yep i just purchased the set of six basic g.i.joe figures for $150. which means they will hit store in the united states shortly and i will have regretted spending so much money for a possible $36 set of figures. i just didn't want to risk them not coming out at all and regret not having the ones i wanted. lucky for my i have a buddy who is interested in the 3 figures i don't want. so it will not hurt my wallet so bad.
has anyone else done what i did? do you think you will regret it? i think if i see them in stores i will still buy them so maybe it won't be the dumbest decision i have ever made. at the end of the day as long has i have my snake-eyes, storm shadow and cobra commander i guess i am happy. i just hope i don't screw them up when i try to make them more accurate to the original arah joes |

if they do they will show up without warning...I really really want to get them but not for that much...as Iw ant multiples of each...I dunno why they are keeping this such a huge secret...I guess its cause they know we want these more then the retaliation figures...

You know, if you really want them, and they would add to your collection, and there's no absolute guarantee these will be released stateside, then that $25 per figure is a peace-of-mind insurance policy. Heck, people have paid more per figure. For me, it wouldn't be a smart move, but I'm not gonna down somebody else who did it.

i understand that it would be a lot of money for troop building but luckily for me i am just looking to complete a modern era set of the 82-94 arah set. vrap i thought 150 for 6 figures half of which i don't want was a lot. but atleast for me i will not end up regretting not getting them if they end up as valuable as the collectors club dial-tone or the dvd pack alpine

Thanks for taking that bullet for the rest of us.
