I have always been interested in other peoples Joeverse. I know there have been other threads regarding joeverses but what I would like to know is,
Has you Joeverse changed to only feature the 25th Anniversary? I have been building my own Joeverse with the current line of figures so I am interested if anyone else is doing the same thing. Either for Dios, Fan Fiction, Playtime or just something that is floating around in your head (like mine) |

My joeverse contains both the 25th and vintage, once all the vintage guys I like get made 25th, then there wont' be any vintage.
But right now, there really aren't that many troops in the 25th line. There's Hawk, Duke, Flint and other leaders and specialists but not many troops.

I use the 25th as my baseline, but will bring in any other that blends well with the 25th. Vehicles definitely a wide variety outside of the 25th, figures not so much which is why I lean heavy towrds the customs. But also like Troynos if I have an older version included it will be replaced by an updated one.

I have some vintage, but were I to display it would be all 25th/Modern era figures. Don't get me wrong, my childhood is steeped with the original line, but as things get better and updated I move along with the times. Not like they're going to keep making vintage style figures unless they are some kind of club exculsives.

The 25th Joe's are my base as well. A similar question was asked on another board, "how realistic/unrealistic is your Joe verse". I said unrealistic because with some many other properties entering the 1/18 scale, I can't help but mix it up(Joe, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Marvel, DC...). And for those properties that don't have 1/18 toys out yet, I'll either make a custom or use their concepts(Resident Evil, Stargate, Terminator....).

I still love the RAH, primarily because they fit better in vehicles and there's more of em, but I don't mix them in with the modern-era.

For the most part I don't have any GI Joes left besides the 25th.

Thats why I wanted to know about other peoples Joeverse. The one I have in my mind is basically what IDW are doing with their reboot of the GI Joe comics. A small team making guerilla attacks on a bigger Cobra organization |
