We're always bitching about something. Ratings system, etc. I have a LONG list of favorite 25th Joes. But even my favorites have some sort of flaw that, while I consider them almost perfect versions, I have some problem with.
I love v2 Hawk, but he's got the elbow bendy problem. Love Duke, but well, yeah. Etc. Which figures do you think are a 10/10 (or 11/10, whatever is "top dog, no gripes AT ALL")? And by 10/10, you consider it as 100% true, and you feel that most people agree that it's one of THE best in the line, not necessarily just "YOUR" favorite? Considering design, parts use, quality control, accessories, dedication-to-original (or awesomeness if they're new?), popularity, poseability and articulation, I consider these guys perfect: • B.A.T. • Snow Serpent • Xamot/Tomax • Comic Pack Firefly What are yours? Disagreements? Last edited by Mandingo Rex; 10-24-2008 at 05:11 PM.. |

Snake Eyes v2 is also really close. Lack of a backpack/place to store sword is the only problem I have. I prefer the clean commando look to the ninja accessories (on the DVD version) to be honest. Lady Jaye needs lipstick and wrists that bend, that's about it. She's the best female mold yet. Also, Mutt was a damn close call, but he has Viper elbows (pointy, look like Nemesis Enforcer blades haha). I actually fixed those with nail clippers (of all "tools" to use, haha), but I didn't vote 10/10 because he didn't come "perfect" from the factory. I also think he has big birthing hips, which could be dog-handling padding (I write them off as padding.) Those 2 are like 9.9999/10. Last edited by Mandingo Rex; 10-24-2008 at 05:24 PM.. |

Hawk was so close for me, so it's painful I won't give him a 10/10, but his elbows need to move a little more. Mine barely bends more than straight-out.

Good call Cobra88.
Beachhead is awesome. The comic pack one may trump him though, which is why I didn't list him. The first one was fine by me, but the temptation of the double-head gimmick may beat him (and the original-toy-accurate vest). Likewise, Firefly v1 kicks ass, and as far as repaints, all versions of him are pretty freaking awesome. arc30: I'm looking forward to Dusty, but mine came without straps, so I haven't opened him yet. A lot of folks had issues with the straps, hood cloth/color, and the camo pattern, but I really dig him. Of un-released ones, I'm looking forward to Alpine and Zartan v2, as they seem pretty damn top-notch. I'll even forgive Zartan's skier, as that would go in the junk bin anyways. |

I want to agree, but I don't have an opened Doc. Haha. I have a carded one, but I've had my second sent off for at least 2 months, and no check cashed yet...
So I don't know if I'll ever get to open him. I'll have to pretend he's not that awesome then, in case I don't get him. The only drawback I could imagine was Duke arms, but since he's black it may hide it a little better. |
