This is all speculation, just food for thought. Online retailers selling all the newer figs and vehicles better then retail stores cause the retail stores ain't moving the older joe's stock in turn forcing the new stuff to be sold by other means (ONLINE RETAILERS).......whats it all mean, im thinkin little to none of the current waves of single figs or vehicles will be bought at retail stores, and sold out online by the time retail stores are ready to order. so it ain't places like bbts gettin thier stuff together wit the online sales, it's them having access to the product cause nobodys ordering on the retail stores end. What do you guys think?

Revision cases...that is what I think. There clogging up the system because there aren't enough mainstream folk that are buying these guys...just the collectors.

I think that all of the revision cases were ordered by the retailers and now they have no room for wave 10 (and possibly wave 11). It will suck for people that don't buy online, but my feeling is that wave 10 and wave 11 won't be readily available at the mass retail outlets (like Target and Wal-Mart) until Thanksgiving or maybe even X-Mas. And by the time they are out in stores, most people will have likely already bought theirs from the online stores making the waves less in demand. Wave 12 being such a lackluster wave will only make things worse for people who don't buy online.
Because of all of this, I really think wave 13's Blowtorch is going to end up being a really rare figure at retail. Hopefully things will recover, but I see the modern line being really hard to find at retail from this point on until the movie line arrives. Unless Hasbro stops the revision cases. I think Hasbro would have been better off releasing all of these revision cases right before the movie came out or even during the movie's release.

I think outback has a good starting point. The problem with these revision cases is a lot of the ones in there no one wants anymore with few exceptions,(bludd flint se w/ timber and joe storm shadow and possibly flash) since most people got em either in stores or on evil bay and don't need em, or they are ones people didnt liek much in the first place, like blue baroness, pp officer, green vest roadblock etc. So now these revisions are hoggin up space for the new waves and stores wont order em since they arent selling current product and then they clearance current product(revision waves) then don't order much if any new stuff then blamo no more joes for ahwile. OR Blamo..instant movie figure maddness since people who have to buy joes want new figs to buy. Personally...alot more apce by removing crappy power ranger, reduce the size of bakugan and ben toys and hulk movie toys etc, give more space to joes and have more NEW joe product.

more likely, though, what they overestimated was the demand for the older figures at retail again, and overproduced the revision waves. in the long run, I don't think it will affect much, we'll just see the newer waves at retail later on. |

I'm dying to see wave 10 at retail, it sucks cause there's only revisions. I don't mind some of the revision figures, but the price of them is killing my wallet. If I had the money I'd buy the whole shelf of GI Joes, just so they'd restock the new stuff. I need to win the lottery. I really hope they don't cancel the line because of the lack of sales. That would suck.
