Giving up on the Res Stormshadow

I am really getting frustrated with the Renegades Stormshadow.Yes,the only Stormshadow that everyone has to have and Hasbro chooses to under produce it.The stores in my area haven't had a single Joe sense Christmas(TRU and Target) and some Walmarts that did thier sets and got in a case of wave 4 have sold out already.Of course the Retaliation figures coming out in May(or according to a thread can Already be found at Meijers)doesn't give me much hope.Here is the bullshit I am faced with in terms of the Joes.If anyone could hook me up.This one is from at TRU I went to in Tennesse and its very similar to the Huntsville Alabama TRU interms of the lack of Joes exept for the Hazard Viper.For all of you that have found the Renegades Stormshadow,keep in mind that there are some like me that have never seen him.Sorry for my rant.

I'll be honest, he's still out there. I've found him twice in the last couple of weeks at two different TRUs. Not easy to find, but still available. But yeah, don't know why Hasbro short-packed him.

Well everytime I go into a store its the same shit.Walmart has peg space for them but they are bare with the Joes or its wave 2,TRU hasn't had anything new for months,you saw the photo and that was today.I am worried that because of the GI Joe 2 stuff that SS is now cancelled.I just saw a post that the Joe 2 stuff has already been found.I am very desparate for the Renegades Stormshoadw now and I don't want to pay $10000000000000000000000000000000000 on Ebay for him.

That Renegades Stormshadow is hard to get because everyone wants to put him on Ebay! I just want one i have all the renegades but stormshadow and the sucks!

Storm Shadow is demanding Zarana prices online kinda funny for a retail fig...Retaliation will include not one but two figures using nearly the entire mold of Renegades SS...I think Hasbro did something very strange with SS...they listened to Joe fans! thats right we are to blame for this...we as Joe fans whined and complained that there were too many SS, SE, Duke etc. So they chose to short ship him. If this is the case then how ironic would it be? I found SS once...at 4:30 am after a WM put out the Renegades wave. I went into a WM for like two months and didnt see anything new after a slight lay off I went back turns out they got a shipment in my absence and SS was gone! Keep searching pal...It could happen! Check Wal Greens and CVS too!

best bet is to start checking TRU's and Walgreens.... Tru is getting tons of wave 3 shipments in... how do I know? Because I work there...

Awesome someone who's on the inside.Can to tell me what will happens with the Renegades and 30th Ann figures once the Retaliation figures show up?How does that work?

I have to point out though that when this figure was first shown at the convention, the fan reaction was almost entirely positive and enthusiastic to it. This was well enough before the figures hit retail that Hasbro could have produced significantly more if they really were "listening to the fans".

They will most likely be gone before them, they are sending out the cases almost a couple a week, before then we were lucky to get a couple a month... They are purging the excess stock, and what they don't sell in stores will be left for tru.com.

Deep down we as collectors love stuff like this, it's the thrill of the hunt.
Hell it's the only interesting thing happening with GI Joe (besides credit card fraud) until the Retaliation figures hit.
And I say that as someone who has never found a Renegades Stormshadow.
