Would you buy a generic "hostage" pack?

If Hasbro did a 5 or 7 pack of generic characters: scientist, politician, businessman, etc.. would you buy it?

Yeah i would, the Joes have to have someone to rescue and Cobra has to have someone to terrorise.

I've always wanted plain-clothed Joes, or at least civilians in Joe style that fit in perfectly. Head-swapping would give you "undercover" Joes.

They'd need 2 sets of 5, with some women thrown in the mix, but they'd also be excellent custom fodder as well.

They would almost need to be internet exclusives, I don't see kids buying them in stores, but I could be wrong.

They'd be awesome though.

absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!! having some civilians for a diorama would be perfect. Right now my choices are limited to Dr. Henry Jones and a group of wwe wrestlers. bring on the civilians.............

Won't happen. To similar to the current "hostage" thing in every Iraq/Afgan/Pakistan. We don't want kids setting up their own Abu Graib prison complex.

Long gone are the days where Cobra commander can waltz through a lab filled with kidnapped scientists and the thought of prisoner abuse is no where to be found thanks to Fox,Cnn,Msnbc and every other "here's the worst news first" station out there filling our heads with turmoil.

I could see a cool Dr.Mindbender set with guys in labcoats with Mind-Control units on their heads to promote unprovoked, voluntary participation but not scared men sh*tless in the corner he's gonna get chopped up by a B.A.T. heheheh

Thank you US Media!

Doesn't have to be marketed as hostages. I see what you're saying, but there's ways around that.

Nothing says we can't take a set of scientists and make 'em hostages...

I voted no, but it depends. If they made a Dr.Burkhart I would definately get her. But i passed on the GreenShirts pack because the generic joes was not real exciting to me, and generic hostages would probably be re-painted greenshirts
