My job lets me have toys all over my desk. I currently have at LEAST 30-40 25th Joes and Cobras battling on my desk. Of course I work at an ad agency, and there are plenty of people with weird shit in their offices...
One office has a sarcophagus, another a pinball machine, random props from TV shoots, etc. They also allow people to bring in their dogs... One guy has one that I'd swear was part Appaloosa. You'll find that tech companies/design firms/places like that will allow such things, as they employ 50% or more nerds, and the nerds are there 50% or more of their life, so they may as well make it feel like a mini-home. |

I don't bring my toys to work. Shoot, I don't even bring my toys to school when I was a kid!

I had a few toys on my desk, but was told it was unprofessional and had to take them home.

How were you able to have that many at work? What do you do for work?
As cool as it is, I can't imagine any boss letting a display like that go. Definately doesn't portray a professional image to clients. What is your job? I can see maybe one or two but that... damn.. Now the room is awesome, I hope to have something similar someday.
