Hey Folks!
Thanks for the GREAT suggestions! If a Series #6 does happen, it will consist of items off your suggestions. If by some chance a "suggestion" email wasn't answered...the reply must have been lost in "cyberspace". Or possibly might have been lost in the busy process that is "gun-running!" Lots of folks on this board can confirm our responses to their suggestions (and can also confirm their items getting produced). Our "suggestion" file is HUGE and we appreciate all suggestions. Just a reminder, ALL of our items came from collector requests. Our weapons are ABS plastic, instead of the soft bendy PVC rubber. Personally, I could never stand a "bent" barrel or a crooked weapon, so the harder plastic helps avoid that issue. PVC is also used since it "holds paint" and can be glued. There are various sizes of pistol grips (as with real world weapons), so would suggest the smaller handled weapons for the RAH. TRUE 1:18 scale is highly subjective. When working up the reduction computations for the final size of the weapon, the "average" size of a person being 5' 10" is the "average" reduction ratio used. When the item is in the final reduced state, the minute variance between the EXACT scale for 5'6" person and a 6' person is miniscule and not noticeable. Real world weapons are not "scaled" for short people or tall people, but are constant size..regardless of the final end user. So using the average 5'10" size of the person as the baseline allows us to get the most accurate size relationship with most 1:18 scale figure (which again vary by manufacturer & era). We're working on "soft" goods (belts, holsters, harness, etc), headgear, "heavy" weapons and more weapons (modern, WWII & sci-fi). Each of those new type of items open up a whole new area of development & production issues, but hope to solve them. If all works out with the newest Series #5 release, hope to bring new items to you as soon as possible. Thanks again for your support! Also, if you didn't get the reply to your emails please forword the email again & will respond. Thanks! MJ

I second the request for brick walls and more diorama-friendly battlefield pieces. Maybe molded sandbag piles, MG nests, etc.
I'd love for Marauder to keep focusing on weapons that aren't super-common with the figures. We have a lot of Beretta 9mms and the Snow Job rifles are plentiful. But Tec-9s and the like are less easy to find. And there are Tec-9s in the original GI Joe comic. Around #54 or #55 I'm sure, and probably elsewhere. I love the hard plastic weapons. Keep em coming! |

How about backpacks with pegs to fit in the backs of 25A figures? Including some blue or black ones for Cobra Troopers and tan/green ones for Joes?
And yes, mortars!!! |

In addition to what i said earlier, i would also love to see some broken buildings. Marauder John uses the Power Team Elite stuff, of whatever they are calling themselves this week. The firemen and policemen (SWAT, i think) came with broken building pieces. Maybe he could resell those like he does the crates and oil drums.
I know he offers some web belts, but i would really like to see more satchels and bags, or more web gear that goes over the body, covered with various bags and grenade holders. Maybe some sort of modular web gear system. I don't know how you would pull that one off, but i think that would be cool. GI Joe has always been lacking in the real equipment area. I would also like to see mounts that are compatible with the power team elite stuff. If Marauder John made a mark 19 grenade launcher, maybe he could fashion some sort of adapter or mount to allow it to fit on the power team elite stuff that the larger, more abstract mark 19 came with, such as the dune buggy, humvees, or guard towers. This would allow us to utilize the vehicles, and adapt the exiting holes and brackets to use more realistically scaled weapons. An M2 or mini-gun that could mount on these same brackets would be amazing. Anyway...

The backpacks would be cool, but i think he needs to keep them strappy so other toy lines can share, and therefore he can get more sales. Just make sure there is ample room for 25th figures to fit, which i think they already do. I would like to see more backpacks, duffels, and also a modern radio backpack (with removable handset if possible).

I'd love to see Sais, it's the only thing my Red Ninjas are missing ~ a bo staff would be nice, too.
