"There's no Wal Mart in New York City"
Yeah, but there is one in White Plains, just four blocks from the Metro-North stop. And Right across the street from a Target. Of course you'll be lucky if they've got anything. The Pegs have been mighty empty. |

Now I hear that wave 5 is already out! How can it be? I visit my local stores at least 3-4 days a week and I've never had a problem getting the figs that I want. I'm sorta worried that I may NEVER get them as was the case with many of the Transformers Titanium figures that were killed as a result of the movie toys. Anyone else experiencing it this bad?

well I FINALY hit the jackpot!...I found waves 2 and 3 a plenty yesterday afternoon at a total of four Targets...1st stop - one Stalker, left him...2nd stop - a Trooper, got him, and a anchor Shipwreck, left him...3rd stop - I got a Beachhead and a FireFly, and left behind two Beachs, a firefly, a anchor shippy...4th stop - I got a Lady Jaye, Buzzer, and Red ninja and I left behind countless others...it was the most successful day I've had...interestingly enough, I saw not one SS, SE, or CC...

...there is a shortage of joe figs at retail outlets.
this morning, stopped in at walmart and saw, for the first time, an unopened case of joes. 8 figs per case? 1 of each character in the case? anyway, it wasnt the siegie wave, but i did manage to get a passable shipwreck...barely passable. Last edited by Gung.Heaux; 11-27-2007 at 12:33 PM.. |

I've seen every figure in stores I've been to since Friday except Zartan. (BTW I am DONE with these Zartan varients! I think.) I managed to finally find a Flint to keep carded yesterday. I've also found 5 troopers at 3 Targets (no, I didn't buy them all so hush). It's so nice to see full pegs - just keep looking! Of course, I'm totally addicting to going to Target, even though there's nothing I want and I have no money. |
