So I just unexpectedly received 2 of each of these guys in the mail. I ordered them about a week ago from a to be unnamed toy site that was blowing through them at a pretty steep discount. Got to say, both figs rock.
Para-viper gets my vote for best gear yet in the new line-- parachute, webgear, helmet, goggles, knife, a whole mess of tubing, flippers (!) and two guns, one of which has a removable clip of ammo and a folding stock. The Bazooka Trooper is very nice too, though not quite as deluxe. He seems to have a spot on the back of his webgear where his pistol should store, but I can't figure it out. Anyone out there want to enlighten me? |

what was the name of the site you ordered from. Discount and gi joe wave 10 arent usually grouped together in the same sentence.

Here's a quicky photobooth picture of the possible gun holster thing on Bazooka Trooper's back. Now that I look at it some more, it looks like maybe another piece was going to be glued to it or something.

Doesn't the pistol he comes with fit into the holster?

PM sent, franchise9. The particular site is not a sponsor of the 'tank, so I don't want to turn this into an advertisement for them. Here's a photo of a Para-Viper with all it's cool stuff, and my filthy fingernails.

it would be great if the pistol fit there. i wish all the cobra troopers had a hook or loop on their backs to hang their rifles from.

i know this'll sound stupid, but is there a peg on his bazooka that will allow it to fit there?

I just tried it and, as far as I can figure, no dice. I honestly think that they must have molded a holster and decided to leave it off. I thin those gun-looking groove things were probably just to attach the missing holster.
