Alright folks I'm not holding my breath for a Skystriker reissue, but nonetheless, remain hopeful. Some of the modern era vehicles we have seen reissued have had modifications that make them better. For example the VAMP has all new parts in certain areas that enhance the sense of realism. The Ghost HAWK actually has canopy glass this time around. What changes/improvements/additions would you want to see on the Skystriker XP-14F?
Here are mine: -no interlinking with the landing gear and sweeping wings. This bugged me when I was younger. What if you wanted to save space, display the striker on it's gear and have the wings folded back? Without modification, it was impossible to do this on the old one! Not to mention, the Skystriker/F-14 has it's wings swept forward a lot during flight, so having the wheels go down each time the wings are swept forward sucks in a way. -clips to hold the figures in place on the seats, instead of pegs. Clips like the one on the new FANG and trouble bubble -gloss stickers that actually stick, no stickers like on the recent Conquest or Rattler! -mold the plane in grey instead of bright white. -mold the vertical stabilizers molded in black like on the box art. -have it come with an Ace with a realistic fighter pilot's helmet...like on RAH v3 Ace, the most realistic Ace ever! That's about it for me, for now. Discuss folks! BTW folks, this custom I found, illustrates the point about the landing gear and wing sweep mechanisms being seperate. Click here!

I don't care what they did I would still buy a reissue (I really want a Skystriker), but you have some valid points. This holds especially true if they have to remake the mold they might as well do it right. I'd have to say I agree with you on all points.
We should get a petition going to and send to Hasbro including how many people would buy a Skystriker and how many each would buy. Maybe they'd change their minds about making a new mold when they seen how many people would buy one. I just think this plane has to get made, it's as iconic as the Rattler; and I think many would agree on this point. |

The ultimate touch would be a special edition 1:18 F-14 Tomcat from the VF-84 "Jolly Roger" Squadron. Given the amazing detail and superb quality of the BBI Elite Force F/A-18 Superhornet, I would love to see them produce an F-14 in the same scale.
Sorry, but that is the ultimate class of 1:18 vehicles. |

I would love the OG, but it is dated :(
Would like to see it in a new revived vigor in a new design, somehitng they have not done before, like a Raptor! |
