I was just wondering what figures people like to troop build here.
Most people like to troop build cobra figures, but I like to troop build joe figures too. I have about 15 2005 steel brigade figures, and I'm getting 10 more soon(some to customize). I also have a lot of cobras. For 25th figures, I have 7 Crimson Guards, 6 Vipers, 3 Airtroopers, 3 Officers, 2 scarfaces, and a few customs. Obviously I'm sure a lot of tankers can outnumber my army easily. When the figures are more common, I want 10 para-vipers, 10 airborne's, 5 dusty's, 5 wave six Comic pack beachhead's. A few of these will be used for head swaps, such as airborne(helicopter gunners). I'm going to need a lot of money. |

Never before was this possible during my childhood, so I am trying to make up for lost time. I maintain platoon sized elements of Vipers, Conventional Troopers, BATs, Python Troopers and Snow Serpents. They are Cobra's front line units, so that is why their teams are stacked. Bazooka Troopers will be limited to 2 per squad in the Cobra Trooper Platoon leaving the need for 8 total BTs. Para-Vipers strike me as more of an elite few (Airborne Shock Troops usually are), so they will remain as a squad level asset. My squad sized specialty units include 8-10 of Cobra Ninjas (Black), Cobra Ninjas (Red), Stinger Drivers, HISS Drivers, Air Troopers, Crimson Guardsmen, Tele-vipers and Cobra Officers. The jury is still out on Ninja Viper, but I plan to construct a strong combination of Red Divers and Eels as my Cobra Naval Assault Platoon. For extra nerdiness (since I am an open water diver), I would prefer to utilize Cobra Red Diver for shallow surface diving (50 meters), and the Eels get to go down to the 250-300 meter range with Nitrous. I prefer to army build the 25th Annversery line because I'm tired of changing O-Rings. In fact I have sold off some of my original Cobra troops to finance my Anniversery collection. I know the vintage stuff is cool, and it started it all, but I'm tired of buying new O-rings. I also like to army build Jets for the Flagg. I have five Conquests, five vintage Sky Strikers, and three of those knock off F-18s.
From the Anniversery line I've got about 22 Crimson guards 40 or so troopers & Officers 3 vipers 4 Televipers 3 Bats 5 snow Serpents 7 stinger drivers 3 Hiss drivers From the Spytroops and VvV figs 6 Televipers 20 Troopers & Officers 4 Crimson guards with removable helmet 25 vipers |
