BAZOOKA!!! He's the most unique out of the bunch, all the others have been done one too many times! Not putting them down, but Bazooka stands out for me. Had the original, have the new one.
EDIT: Just noticed Crankcase is on there too, how has no one voted for him? I LOVE his 25th incarnation! He looks like a respectable young Irish soldier, where as his original looked like a creepy pervert. He comes in second on my end.

Judging from the votes thus far, I'd say this were a popularity contest vs. the best representation of a figure from it's '85 counterpart.
I voted for Lady Jaye as the best update from the list. She came with accurate weapons, coloring and sculpting. Great update. Te other figures have some issues, either wrong cammo, different sculpt, Duke arms, lack of ankle articulation or what have you...all cool figures but Lady Jaye stands out among them for me.

poor crankcase. i vote for him just so he'd have a vote. My aunt bought me him on my 10th birthday, so he's nostalgic for me.

i set up a display this past weekend:
one set up for 82 one set up for joes i actually owned as a kid (sans the 82 ones) one for other joes i didn't have. turns out that after 82, of which i had them all, i only owned 1 to 3 joes per wave (not counting cobras, mail order, vehicle drivers), then i was done after 86. 83 gung ho torpedo snow job 84 spirit 85 dusty flint snake eyes 86 lowlight only eight joes after 82?!?!?! it is interesting to see where my priorities lied back then as i carefully selected each joe that i owned. |

BBQ. Wave 9 was hands down my favorite wave. Everything but Ninjapoo Storm Shadow was awesome.
