I've only recently "met" the new Lady Jaye (YOJOE.COM | Lady Jaye). I got to say it's a pretty nit figure.
I never really liked the first Lady Jaye fig (YOJOE.COM | Lady Jaye), although it a was a very comic book accurate one. I always thought it was, well, "different" than what I'd like er to - as a child, I only new the cartoon Lady Jaye, and the comic book accurate one we got was not the one I'd like to have. But now it seems Hasbro is going for some cartoon accurate figs too - so, my question is: would you rather have cartoon- or comic book-accurate figs? Or both? Although I feel most people would go for the "both" option, I'm not sure that is the best option for every figure (I, for one, was never a fan of cartoon Snake Eyes look...) Discuss! |

So you like the Blue Snake-Eyes instead of the Purple one? I had to go for both because I like a lot of the regular looking Joes but there are a few that I don't mind in cartoon colors (Oddly enough Wild Bill falls into ths catagory) |

Can't vote, as I hate most of the non-vintage looking figures. I like them to look realistic.
My only exceptions, besides unique figures (i.e. diver Baroness) are WD Destro and cartoon Lady Jaye. I never minded they vintage hat, but the new one is fugly!

I'm a fan of the comics and cartoons as well as the old Hasbro standards. Whatever version of Gung Ho (for example) Hasbro gives me I'm cool with.....as long as his uniform is aqua and he has his big marine tattoo on his chest

Realistic as in Hit & Run or as in Bazooka with a football jersey? As a kid I didn't really care one way or another if it was comic or cartoon version, as long as it said GI Joe on the package I was happy, 26 years later and the same applies. Repaints and all. I voted both. |

Define realistic when you're looking at Action Figures based off of comic and cartoon characters...

I voted both. Destro: realistic: black or grey un-realistic: purple Cobra Officers: realistic: grey or black web gear and kneepads un-realistic: yellow web gear and kneepads Cobra Troopers: realistic: almost all except un-realistic: Legions or SRO 3-pack bare hands? So much effort to mask identity to leave fingerprints? Plus Legions yellow gear. Snake Eyes: realistic: grey or black un-realistic: blue I agree on Bazooka. I do not own a loose one, but I would like a TF one or a non-football scheme jersey one.
