As I recalled from the 80's Duke arms are actually can be used on several figures only - Duke, Letherneck. On the other hand Viper or Flint upper arms can be used in many figures - Flint, Viper, Rock & Roll, Falcon, Breaker .... I just name a few. But instead, Modern line are using Duke arms almost every figures that I just named. This is completely ridiculous. The latest figure that I purchased was Falcon, and they are ruined the best figure of 1987, perhaps one of the top 10 figures of my Joe collection. Now I have to get TF Flint to fix his Damn hand. Frustration, frustration, frustration.
NO MORE DUKE HANDS PLEASE. STOP USING DUKE HANDS ON OTHER FIGURES THAT IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. IF I HAVE ENOUGH MONEY I WOULD OFFER YOU TO BUY BACK DUKE ARMS MOLD AND DESTROY THEM FOR GOOD. I WILL WASH IT WITH SALT, YES A LOT OF SALT. Last edited by tuan_tran73; 09-04-2008 at 01:10 PM.. |

This line is awesome, and I am totally agree with you on that. However, Duke arm is looking great on Duke, Leatherneck, but not Flint, nor Falcon. Are you agree?

I love this line too...but it has its flaws....and hands on some figs are one of them. If you can't stand or hold your gun...it's got an issue. Snow Serpent backpack won't stay on once you touch it....that bugs me especially when it comes from HASBRO who had it right before. And for 7-8 bucks a pop. I expect a quality in my figure.

I still like the Duke arms though...one of the better sculpted arms of this line IMO. And they hold the weapons much better than most of the other hands out there. |

I agree but Duke arms don't allow a fig to hold weapons correctly and now that they have a better design I can not see way Hasbro still uses the old arms.

I don't have that problem with my Snow Serpents at all. But I do get what you are saying, i really dislike Roadblocks extra wide hand and Shipwreck's fist.
I still like the Duke arms though...one of the better sculpted arms of this line IMO. And they hold the weapons much better than most of the other hands out there. The slit doesn't bother me as much, but it would have made more sense to make the joint turn at the base of the sleeve, where it meets the arm. The Snow serpent is one of the best action figures ever produced by mans hands. I agree with roadblack and shipwreck. I want all my figures with neutral hands and both hands to have trigger fingers. Oh well. All in all, great stuff.
