That is the reason why i won't buy from them.Back when classics dev. came out. The sent out "buyers" to clean stores out. They didn't even try and hide it,it was right there for everybody to read.

They're my "Plan B" as well. It's only because of them I was able to secure Wave 4 & 5 for my collection. I highly recommend them to patient collectors.
It looks like maybe things are improving as far as Hasbro getting them product in a timely manner, but sometimes your pre-order can sit there for weeks (if not months) after seeing posts of everyone finding it in stores. Pile of Loot option is awesome. It saved me $9 in shipping being able to have them hold onto one wave while I was waiting for the next wave to come in. You can cancel your order at any time, even if it's just sitting in your Pile of Loot. They'll just give you store credit. Kinda sucks for them, though. Imagine how many ppl cancel pre-orders and how much potential $$$ they lose because Hasbro doesn't get it to them in time. Plus, they have payroll and taxes to worry about. Much more "ethical" for me to pay a couple of extra bucks to them than some dude on ebay. |

Worse yet I used to live there, we saw it first hand. I remember a guy I know works for them (Seen him at Botcon) walking out with a cart full of Classics Dev and Alt. Ravage and Rumble.

Although I haven't taken the online plunge, I'm planning on doing business with BBTS in the near future. Its nice to know they're good to deal with.
Other than BBTS, anyone else have other online venues they recommend? Thanks. |

Many online retailers do this, as a matter of fact many comic shops do this, it is obnoxious but I have to over look it. I saved about 15.00 off retail on my recent shipment from them, and thats no including sales tax and gas money and time and aggravation of being disappointed. I live in the south west and those exclusives were every damn place, but I have to say those were walmart exclusives and walmart is sucktastic at exclusives. = I love Target. Walmart can kiss my n$t sack. I HATE when they get exclusive rights.

there is entertainment earth or brian's toys. I would recommend BBTS though, they are way cheaper for same quality. |

i ordered 10 and 11 online, first time ive done that,....with the price increases im really not going to pay much more. in fact, when all is said and done, im going to come out cheaper than target and TRU. the only drawbacks are...
A. not being able to look at paint apps beforehand B. there are a few figures in that 16 that i either have (bat, parka snake eyes), or really wasnt 100% sold on (cobra bazooka, flint in disguise--those kind i usually get later, when the time between waves is too great and i get desperate for new joes). but in the end i will have two para-vipers and two eels and i wont have to spend time getting pissed at local stores for having the same joe stock that theyve had for the last 4 months. (i guess even that parka snakes not a bad thing...i can kitbash another character into an arctic version.) |
