apparently. I think that was also the name for him in last years con set.
I thought Hasbro go the name Shockwave back and had been using it in Transformers. I know I'd rather have G.I. JOE SHOCKWAVE instead of SHOCKBLAST. |

I think they also changed 'Backblast' to 'Backwave'.

Shockblast = Cheesy
Shockwave = very common. not unique enough. im just glad they didnt give him Aftershock, Warshock and other crappy names.

LT Shockwave would be fine. of course thats assuming we'll get him in the 3 3/4 inch size not just those ugly 12 inch things with over sized accessories and molded clothing. ugh.

Man, those 12" figures are just plain awful looking. I never hear anything good about them on here. Does anybody really collect these? Kind of a shame because they probably spent a lot of money on them that could have gone towards making some new 4" figures.
They can call the Shockwave figure whatever they want because in my mind I know it's still Shockwave.
