Just bought my first 25th haul today...
I do have other 25th (Zartan, Dreadnoks, Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes), but those are basically my minimal figures that I usually always buy. For Sigma, I only have Zartan, Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes (all 12" figures)... just to give you an idea. So today was my first real haul. I'm sure a lot of other people gave reviews when they were first released. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one that's thinking this way about the 25th. So, here's what I bought today. Bazooka - I never realized that he was supposed to be so... beefy. His chest... looks weird. Maybe because it looks so detached. The accessories looks great. Maybe it's because I'm so used to his scrawny body with the original figure. Was he this big in the cartoon? Barbeque - He really caught my eye. I really like this figure, it's a great upgrade. Baroness (Blue Outfit) - Not sure how I feel about this one. A little too much leg, the chest is detached too much, and she's hunched forward. Not sure about the green glasses either. I almost prefer the previous version in the black outfit with the regular round glasses which is closer to the cartoon. Duke (with rocket backpack and flag) - Duke looks good. Looks kind of plain ... then again, that's just how I feel about Duke. Flint (Tiger Force) - He looks good... except his face. Why is he looking up? Copperhead (comic book 2-pack that comes with Shipwreck) - Copperhead looks awesome.... nuff said. Shipwreck (comic book 2-pack that comes with Copperhead) - I like that he has a life-jacket because he's usually riding shotgun on the WHALE. Nothing else really strikes out from this figure. Destro (DVD Pack that comes with Lady Jaye and Roadblock) - I have to be honest that the main reason why I bought this was because of Destro. He looks really good. His colors just look awesome. I really like this version of Destro. Lady Jaye (DVD Pack that comes with Destro and Roadblock) - Wow... finally a Lady Jaye that looks good and without that damn cap. The second reason why I bought this set. She just looks good. Lots of accessories for her pack, VERY happy with this one. Roadblock (DVD Pack that comes with Lady Jaye and Destro) - My first Roadblock.... EVER. Don't have the 80's version. Just wasn't a fan of him so I never got him. I do like this figure though... wish it came with the heavy machine gun.... but that's what Marauders is for. Now I'm going through my original collection... and it looks like I will be building a duplicate collection with the 25th (minus some vehicles). Thanks for reading! |

If your trying to get most of the figs, you should be able to get all the comic packs. Target has them instock and on sale for $8. Also BBTS and HTS and Toys R us.com should have all what you need in stock and fairly cheap.

Any word on the HISS Driver, BAT or Snow Serpent? Those are among the best from Cobra. SGT Flash, General Hawk and Tripwire are among my favorites from the Joes. Good luck, and keep us posted about your hunts!!!! |

Nice haul...
I completely agree with just about everything you said (IMO, I think Bazooka looks great, but I think Barbeque would be better with the removable helmet... we saw him without it so much, I just thought it'd be removable). But yeah, the DVD Destro & Lady Jaye are the two best versions of those figures. |

seriously Bazooka is a Monster compared to the other figures..but in the comic's he gained weight..so there keeping it accurate which is a good thing.
nice haul btw.

I'm not too fond of the Joes (SGT Flash, General Hawk and Tripwire). I generally focus more on Cobra. Quote:
Torpedo and Spirit on also on it's way. Quote:
After I posted this last night, I went through all the 25th that's been released and basically putting a list together for the figures that I wanted to get. Along with some preorders. I forgot how addicting it can get. |
