I'd go for a 5 pack of some of the original 13. I never got the idea of Greenshirts. The Joes were supposed to be elites. Greenshirts if they exist should just be regular army. Cobra has the hordes of faceless soldiers.

Hicks) Man you had to poke fun at BattleForce 2000, well remember this please, The Iron Grenadiers are the Cobra version of BF2000 (remember the cards people) I get bent out of shape when people say bad things about a certain joe, (star wars gets reissues of every single 1 second character in the mix, why then are we the joe forum gripping about single figures that shouldn't make the cut)? I say release them all!!!! Every figure that was doen originally needs a proper reissue, even chuckles, sure the whole neon piant jobs were a bit weird, but some of my fav figures are from the battlecorps lin, and the sub-groups, Hasbro has made some mistakes, but as a whole I'm happy with the direction of the line, I just would like to see hasbro open up the archive and bring us the battle rangers and other figures that were never made. that's my 2 cents!

Well, I didn't realize I was going to draw blood... But the point I was trying to make was there's a long line of actual "Joes" that need to make the cut before they start mass producing Green shirts. When they get down to Characters that genuinely weren't great sellers (and probably still will never sell) then they can unleash the green horde...

Personally, Dee-jay seemed like a miss and way, way, way down on the list... Especially compared to the rest of the '89 Line-up.

Chuckles certainly could sell, if for no other reason his Miami Vice feel.

But if it makes you feel any better, I also hated the Majority of the Joe's Ninja Force characters.

I would agree with you, but let's benefit from hindsight and ixnay some of the more....uhhh, questionable choices Hasbro has made over the years.

For instance, guys like Topside, Stretcher, Raptor, and Deejay (to name just a few) were poor ideas at conception. Although they may have their fans, let's just not go there again and make the same mistakes we did in the past.

There were plenty of Joes made in the early to mid/late 80's who are well worth making in the 25th style first, before we grab that laddle and start hitting the bottom of the pot.

Edit- Sorry, it appears that many of my comments echo the post above this one. Oh well, more voices added to the choir I suppose.

*sniff sniff*

Dee-Jay was my all time favorite character... now I've got nothing, NOTHING! Might as well die now, nothing left to live for.

Haha, actually, the comics made BattleForce 2000 look cool, Not the vehicles so much, but the figures. I'll post my favorite pics of them later tonight.

I'm a little concerned at the amount of Snake-eyes, Storm-Shadows, Cobra Commanders and Dukes we're seeing already.

personally im not alot of the vechiles having pack in figures. I say bring them out on cards...now if they want to put duke's head on ace's body for example then thats fine but dont put ace out with a 50 buck plane...that kills collectors like me.

As for the lesser known joes, bring out the original ones first, then go back to the drawing board on the lesser ones, revamp them for the newer times and make them more exciting.

While characters like Cover Girl, Rock-N-Roll may be second tier characters they still need to be made, and single carded please.

I agree. I would like the 25th figures to stay in the 82-86 timeline if possible.

To only re-make figures from the '82-'86 time-line would be kind of foolish on Hasbro's part, as there were some very interesting characters from '87-'90 even (I stopped collecting them in '88, but I've looked on YoeJoe and there are quite a few figures from '89-90 that I'd like to see remade even though I had moved on on that point back in those days). I look at it like this, it's the anniversary of the entire Real American Hero line, not just 1982-1986. Besides, even if some of us were into it in the early 80's doesn't mean every fan collected those years, too. I am sure there are a lot of fans that would like to see some figures made from '87-'90 (I can't speak for '91-'94, those were just plain awful....JK!)
