With Wave 10 being sighted.....Target Exclusives Have hit by a couple of weeks now......Wave 2 and 3 of the Vehicles being shipped so they are almost out or are out.......The Internet Exclusives have another week to go with some having in hand with pics......New Comic packs a month away and maybe wave 11......seems we are getting hit with new (Well sorta repaints still suck) stuff all of a sudden.
Is everyone excited? Hasbro did say we would have more than enough Joe products on the shelves......and they were right. I for one feel like we are getting an Early Christmas present...yes one we have to buy but still.......pretty cool stuff coming our way. I mean it went from not finding Jack to (Maybe not for all here) "Wow".... "What do I buy today".......... Looking at TRU and Target (Sorry I dont see jack at Wamart) and seeing top to bottom of GI Joe stuff looks pretty cool to me....... What do the rest of you think???? |

I generally agree. I haven't bought anything recently except a Target Rattler, and I won't be buying all of the vehicles or exclusive packs...but it IS nice to walk into a TRU or Wal-Mart and see full pegs and shelves.

Until the shelves looks like crap filled of SW, Hulk, Ben, Spidy, Ironman, SPeedracer, Power Rangers, etc then i'll be impressed.

I totally agree! I say the more stuff on the pegs, the better! And the cool part is, it's all selling, which bodes real well for the line...
As long as they don't get into the Eco-Warriors thing. And yeah, on the flip-side I agree with him too. |

What do I think? I think it's overkill and bad choice after bad choice. I am bowing out of this line because of it and i hope HASBRO just goes away.

Well, I doubt that'll happen. Hasbro knows a cash-cow when they see one and the majority of us are gobbling it up like it's an Oreo Cookies dipped in milk... nice & squishy just before mowing down on it.

As for what I think, I'm tired of ninjas and ninja related commandos... But I like the new vehicles we're getting and I understand the sacrifices needed to make a profit. I guess I wouldn't mind reusing torsos and parts so much if they weren't used to make the same figure in three different shades of Grey or Yellow or Blue. At least start casting some of those old Star Wars heads and call a Figure Dial tone or bearded Breaker or green shirt six. And I also hope that distribution gets to be a little more evened out before this latest set of Exclusives run their course. Edit, all that said, I do like seeing more product on the shelf... too bad its often already been picked through. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 09-23-2008 at 09:27 PM.. |

We'll probably see another price increase before the shelves end up looking like the SW section.
