First Up is the display background from the vehicle sets. Here we have one of each vehicle background put together for 1 large battle scene/area. Everything is being held up with just 8 small push pins.
Here we have the backdrop from the Trouble Bubble/Ram set used 6 times. (twice for each shelf). On the top you can see the crimson 5 pack backdrop being used. Just as before everything is held up with just a few pushpins. You can fit about 2 dozen figures on each double shelf. Here is my Ninja display using the backdrop from the SE VS red Ninjas 5 pack. Again all it took was 2 Push Pins. FF VS Green shirts Backdrop held by 2 push pins.

Here you see my Joe Display.
Another Idea to Save Space: BUILD UP! As You can see all that I used here were some cardboard boxes and a bunch of battle pack boxes to build the levels. SIDE VIEW

That that is such a freaking cool idea. I can't believe none of us thought about this before. (I use fishing tackle trays and the boxes of my 5-packs to store my figures.)

ever since i left japan in may, my wife and i have been living with her parents, so i'm limited to what i can stuff in my half of the closet.
(the white bag is holding over 60 joes!) we get to move into our house this 22nd! but those shelf boxes are cool though! while i lived in japan i was using cool little floating shelves. work great but arent as visually impressive as yours! here are my floating shelves... i plan on putting one or two rows of shelves that will but up against the ceiling in our next house, going around the entire circumference of the room. and/or those badass shelf units from ikea somebody posted a while ago (not detolf but even cooler IMO)

That's very clever and looks good also.
I use, ahem, cookie sheets and clear plastic Rubbermaid storage containers to increase my shelf space. Driftbot, where did you get those bottom shelves from, the ones that look like sheets of glass (love the Megatron versus Prime display in the corner, also)? Cool idea A.I.Snake, I too am surprised no one else came up with this idea. I love your Ninja Display. I wonder if that's how Hasbro has their factories set up...pumping out all these Storm Shadow repaints on a conveyer belt?

Great idea. I should put into practice when I get the vehicle packs.
