Because all of us knew this was coming:
What is your favorite line - the classic Real American Hero or the 25th Anniversary/Modern Era one? |

the classic all the way is my favorite, call me crazy but it is what i had as a kid and still have to this day. but i do like the modren a lot, only if it was more like the old i would like it even more. if thay had the old foot holes/pegs and backpack holes/pegs also the 3 3/4 size, not the 4'' some of the new hands/arms are just dumb imo, the classic never had lame hands/arms.

If they keep making more characters--the modern line.
If they keep making repaints and nothing else--the classic line. Sab |

I'll never go back to the big headed guys. Funny that their heads look normal pre-TFAC.
Thanks for the memories & the good times though. Last edited by Pimp Daddy Darklon; 09-20-2008 at 12:05 AM.. |

RAH is the superior toyline. We weren't inundated with repaints and so many reused parts as we are now. We had tons of vehicles and characters, almost all unique, and a comic and cartoon as advertisement/entertainment. When a 25th figure is successful, it's because it uses the original character design! That's saying something about the design team back then.
Big heads are proportionate. Pin heads are not - they just look like comic-book heroes. It's too bad most collectors get their anatomy lessons from comic books these days...

The DTC line, superior vehicules and some new nice caracters (even if they were made with spare parts from before and nobody else likes it)
I like 25th anni but they have fundamental design flaws due to haste and cost cutting the classic line is just outdated today. Last edited by firefox; 09-20-2008 at 11:08 AM.. |

I think I will stay neutral. I like them all, and am just happy to have Joes at all.
